Wells - Maud Baker

Waynetown - Mrs. Maud Baker Wells, 89 of Indianapolis died at 9 p.m. Thursday in the Evangelical Center Nursing Home there. She had been ill four months.

A native of Waynetown, she was born Jan 30, 1876 to Robert H. and Ada Guy Baker. The window, The Good Shepherd at the Waynetown Methodist Church is in memory of her mother.

She married Frank Wells in 1914 at Indianapolkis. She was a member of the Methodist Church there and also had lived in Covington.

Survivors include a half brother, Cedric Baker of Indianapolis. Mrs. Wells was preceded in death by her husband and stepmother, Mrs. Olla Baker.

Services are announced for 4:30 p.m. Saturday at the Servies Funeral Home here, with Rev. Guy E. Tremaine the minister and burial in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Friday. - kbz
